For the 2008 Program, CTS prepared construction plans for the asphalt-concrete overlay of 4,000 feet of residential road-ways. CTS provided field checks during the design, to ensure plan accuracy prior to releasing the plans for bid. The bid package was prepared within a very short timeframe (3½ weeks). Construction was completed in July of 2008, and CTS provided construction and field inspection services throughout the construction period.
For the 2009 Program, CTS’s scope of work included PS&E preparation for the following projects:
- Project #4, NE 31st Street, from 96th Avenue NE west to the dead end.
- Project #5, 88th Avenue NE, from NE 24th Street to cul-de-sac.
- Project #6, 89th Place NE, from NE 24th Street to cul-de-sac.
These projects were prepared within a 6-week timeframe, well before the City’s agreed completion date of February 20, 2009.
